Dream Start for Lady Devils Soccer
The HC Girls Soccer Team is red hot so far in their 2011 regular season campaign. The Lady Devils are undefeated with a record of 4-0-1. HC started off the season by winning the FCPS iHigh Soccer Frenzy and only giving up two goals in the span of those three games. Their only blemish so far was a 0-0 draw at home against Lexington Catholic. However, the Lady Devils are still the only team in KHSAA Region 13 not to record a loss. As for the schedule ahead, Henry Clay plays three games in the Central Kentucky area before heading on a two game road trip to Tennessee. The Devils will play Father Ryan (Sep. 10) and Pope John Paul II (Sep. 11) on the trip before heading home to play Bryan Station at John G. Heber Field on September 21.

Henry Clay shows signs of life against dominant Bowling Green
It wasn't a completely negative night for the Henry Clay Football Team against the Bowling Green Purples in the 2011 FCPS iHigh Football Frenzy.
After falling behind 28-0 in the second half, the Blue Devils responded with two unanswered scoring drives to cut Bowling Green's lead in half. The Purples scored again to win 35-14.
Considering the fact that HC were absolutely dismantled 56-6 by John Hardin the week before, this is definitely a step in the right direction.
Henry Clay play Belfry at home next week. Belfry are 1-0 with a 34-7 win over Harrison County so far.
